It’s fair to say any historical stops in Berlin typically come with a harrowing story and this is no exception. To see the remaining elements of the Berlin Wall, something that was still very recent … Full review by tomj932

Our visit to Berlin was amazing, so much to see and everything was so interesting. We were so lucky with the weather, we walked everywhere apart from the bus tour that we did, such a lot of history. … Full review by EC63

This walking memorial truly brings the wall into focus. Instantly raising the question in your head how was this allowed to happen? . The way the German people have shown this living piece of history… Full review by lesley2805

Hi You can get the red line hop on bus at the main train station. Google Hop on Bus Berlin for the map. However, the buses go about 30 KM or 18 miles per hour. If you have a limited time, I would suggest using Uber instead. Our bus tour lasted hours just to get back to the hotel. Uber would be a lot faster with limited time. Group your sites together. The Brandeburg gate, Memorial to Jews killed in WW2 and the former location of the Fuhrer Bunker can be seen with an hour. Otherwise go to Museum Island. There are a number of attractions again grouped together. We liked the Berlin Cathedral and the PERGAMON Museum. Remember that most museums in Europe are closed on Mondays and that goes for Berlin also. I would not go on a Monday. Make sure to check open hours to any site you want to visit.
Where do we pick up the hop on hop off bus from the train station. We are planning to take the train from Hamburg to Berlin
A:
I saw the hop on hop off bus near Alexander Platz, I didn't take it because it's so easy to to visit the city with the pubblic buses, cheaper , so you can stay all the time you need
I would like to know if the underground museum and memorial would be ok for a person to visit who has claustrophobia. Something I suffer from. I can't travel on the London underground for this reason!
A:
The exhibition is mostly outdoors and above ground. I didn’t go myself to the one floor that is below ground.
