Most of the stops are right at the site, just off the dirt track. The site with the most hiking is the Dinosaur Tracks, maybe 1/4 mile to them. The same distance back to vehicles. However, the terrain is rugged. Wear good shoes. There was one man with a cane on my tour. He did just fine. No ADA access anywhere.

Go to recreation.gov to buy a ticket. They do honor interagency passes. I think $10 with no pass. Well worth it!

each driver must provide a 4x4 that meets the requirements of the tour ( no all wheel drive, no SUV's etc.) Tire failure is the leading cause of breakdown on the tour so judge yours accordingly. The trail is fun and quite easy but if rain were to happen it will be a more difficult run.
