Interested in civil rights and multimedia harlem tour, but civil rights is only offered on Mondays....we are not in town on a Monday....can we get civil rights history with the tour avail saturday?

Are children allowed or is the tour not suitable for kids as well? We are a family of 8 visiting mixed ages (59, 52, 45, 42, 17, 13, 10, and 7). Also, are there any tours offered on Sunday after main church services take place or only weekend. We would like to visit the Harlem area on one day if possible and we would like to attend church in that area if possible while we are visiting over a 4 day period to NYC. Thanks.

Hi there As with the previous response - the tour is totally appropriate for the ages in your group. There is some walking around - no big effort, mostly Apollo Theatre and then a couple of streets. The gospel church exhibition is inspiring and lots of fun. The tour is a couple of hours long but we also did the Soul Food lunch at the end of it - totally worth it! Have a great time!
Would the Wed gospel music walking tour be doable for someone with a scooter? My husband can walk short distances and climb a limited number of stairs. Just wondering if we would be able to do this tour?
