A:
Yes you can hire a private power boat. I am not sure of the cost now as it is been a while now. You can get the power boat from Lumbini Park area and also the necklace road area

Boat journey from Lumbini Park to statue is about 50 rupees.... No entry fee at the venue....

Yes ,but start from Lumbini Park before 4:30 pm to avoid crowd at that time and can spend some time near statue leisurely in the wonderful evening atmosphere

Entry is from the Necklace road (Tank Bund) . Take a ride from their to the pedestal. You have to buy the entry ticket and for the ride.
