I took a train from Paris to visit this chateau. I spent about 3 hours marvelling at the history and interiors. There were hardly any visitors at all. The beauty of this place is unparalelled. Full review by 876elep
I will be visiting next week and plan to visit the chateau, gardens and forest. Trying to plan a meal somewhere during that time. Are there restaurants on the grounds of the Chateau, or do I go into the town for a meal?

i think that they do have a cafe inside but "town" is just outside, with loads of eateries well within 5 mins walk.
