It looks as though the Going to the Sun rd will not be open in June when we have scheduled our visit. Can anyone advise if it is still worth going to GNP and if so, what sights would we be able to see. Thanks in advance.

On the west side their are plenty of hiking trails, lakes and boat rides. The east end has similar activities.
No idea, we drove which gives you a lot more flexibility to stop wherever, whenever you like. They do have numerous tours including ones driven in vintage buses.
