hi. I've read suggestions to take a small lunch for after the hike. is there places to store your lunch or would I need to carry it with throughout the hike?
A:
You could leave food in a cooler in your car. The hike ends next to the parking lot. Before you shuttle to the wine tasting/picnic area, you'll have plenty of time to retrieve items from your car.

Yes they are very similar. I have done both and preferred the hike as you saw more. You basically see the same things as the safari but you also get to take fun pictures in a few really beautiful places like the “ billboard “ with the view and the big beautiful tree. We did the hike that included Stanley the giraffe. The wine tasting on our hike included a wine tasting at the outside area with live music and a food truck which was really fun. In the safari our wine tasting was in a pretty grass area surrounded by air stream trailers. You will see that same area on the hike
