Very nice trails, easy walk and very scenic. Only problem is (not so much the nudity) is that you might stumble across a guy giving himself a rub & tug, twice I've stumbled across that (YUCK). Just w… Full review by Compass29956985679

The clothing optional area is huge - it’s not just one area where people congregate. It’s a big area where you can find a relatively secluded spot if that suits you.

Just out of curiosity; why did you venture over to to 'clothing optional' area? Were you totally unaware that it existed? Or there out of curiosity, maybe hoping you'd stumble upon some topless girls??? Don't get me wrong, what you describe seeing is totally profane and inappropriate, and I can imagine seeing something like that as being traumatic. It really makes it hard to believe in tolerance and diversity.

This was not an accidental venture. I was visiting from out of town, and I went with a local resident who knew all about the park. There is nothing profane or inappropriate about this place: all the adults who choose to go make the choice. There are plenty of signs delineating the clothing optional area, and there are all kinds of people there: men, women, couples, groups, singles, friends, gay, straight, all body sizes and shapes and colors, etc. The clothing-optional part of the beach is registered and maintained by a national association for nudists, and it feels safe and clean. To me, respecting those choices and giving a space for people to enjoy recreation without clothes is, in fact, a value for tolerance and diversity and teaches us to accept our bodies without shame.
