Oh it pretty short, no more than 5min or so. But there are two runs. You go up from Telluride on one and get off at the mall, then there’s another one that goes up to the runs. I do not know how long that one is, we did not go up that one. But the view is amazing and so worth going up.

Telluride Mountain Village is not the town of Telluride. Telluride Mountain Village has Heritage Parking Garage, North Village Center Parking, and Mountain Village Gondola Parking Garage. Heritage Parking Garage ($35 all day) is close to the Chondola. North Village Center Parking ($2/hr I think) is at the north end of the village (ergo the name) and isn't an easy walk with ski boots. You can take the shuttle from there. Very close to the top end of the Intercept Gondola is Mountain Village Gondola Parking Garage. I don't know anything about this garage. From that location you can ski down to the village and other gondolas/chairs or even ride the Intercept Gondola down (both much easier than walking in your boots. The lots mentioned by jtischuaser are across the river at the south end of Tomboy Dr and the south end of Mahoney Dr. If you're parking here drop your people (and your gear) off at the gondola at the center of town and walk in wearing tennis shoes. Put those in your back pack and change into your boots at the Gondola. There are a lot of benches at the gondola.

Yes, you can. Then you have to find parking and if you want to drink Adult beverages the Gondola is the safe way to go. If you drive look for the herd of elk on the right, as you head into Telluride. Enjoy
Can you bring a double stroller onto the gondola? Traveling with 4 kids under 7. Also would there be any tops in between Telluride and Mountain Village that the kids would enjoy? All very active kids so easy hikes would be okay.
A:
They will probably fit. You may to take 2 gondolas. They do try to accommodate large groups or people with mobility challenges (like old guys like me). Very friendly staff. I hope this helps.
