Not a great place to visit and well off the beaten path path. OK for a photo stop if you are in the area, but not really a destination location. Full review by TAMAN1951
Does anyone know why they only consider this one and Betty's Hope to be the only 2 fully intact sugar mills in the Caribbean. There are some in Guadeloupe, mainly on Marie Galante. Why don't they count those ones as fully intact?

Hi, sorry it took so long to answer. The Mills in Guadeloupe, that are restored and active are in fact, flour Mills. Morgan Lewis is the only restored and operational Sugar Mill in the World. It was also the largest, post circa 1870, when it was extended to accommodate the new grinding engine, which was unusually put on a plinth, on the outside of the mill, in order for the Cane Juice to finally flow down into the Boiling House, which was built inexplicably above the level of the Mill.
