Tours last approx. 1 hour, and a special Director's Tour is available by appointment only Wed-Friday at 9 am.

Is there an elevator? I see that it is 3 stories, but my mom uses a walker. Wanted to see if this was going to be a problem for her.

An elevator was installed many years ago inside the house. However, there are a lot of steps to go up into the house and so he wouldn't be able to enter into the house itself. The ā¦
An elevator was installed many years ago inside the house. However, there are a lot of steps to go up into the house and so he wouldn't be able to enter into the house itself. The elevator isn't always functional either if memory serves me correctly. Even if your mom did got up the front steps, she might have to stay on the first floor. To be honest, you'd have a much better time taking her to Woolaroc where it's much more handicap friendly and it has places to sit throughout the museums.
