Hi, I'm sorry but we ended up not asking for life jackets because we were all good swimmers, and with salt water, you're so buoyant that you really don't need one. FYI, when visiting Ixtapa Island, you take a water taxi, and the last boat leaves the island at 4:00 pm if I remember correctly. If you do need a life jacket however, it will be cheap for sure. Have fun!!

We have always used US dollars for all the places we have been in Mexico, and that has been quit a few. Looking forward to this trip. It has been 30 years since I was in Ixtapa. First for my Hubby.
