I'm a big history buff and excited to make Museum Island a big highlight in my upcoming trip to Berlin. I'm trying to get my head around how much time to allocate to each for planning purposes. Are all of the museums a similar size? Or are some much smaller than others? I'm more familiar with museums like the British Museum and the Metropolitan, so trying to gauge my expectations of time needed based on the couple of days I spent at each of those.

The Pergamon and Neue Gallerie are the only ones open on Mondays. Audio guides are free with your price of admission.
