I am handicapped and use an electric scooter when my husband and I travel. I am interested in finding out about parks and trails that are handicapped accessible. We will be staying 3 nights in Victoria and would like to visit other areas (like Sooke) while we are there in July. Thank you for your help!

The road and parking lots would be accessible for you. Actual access to the water would be tricker. The first beach area might work if you are able to transfer from your scooter and then walk a bit alone or with help. However, most of the pools would not be accessible via scooter and would even be hard for you to see from the viewpoints as the viewpoints aren't really scooter friendly (one has to crane one's neck and look down into the canyon area from many of them). Goldstream Provincial Park might be a better option for you. The river area isn't as carved out as the potholes, but the trees are much larger and access is better.
