The Southside Rec Center is Texas A&M’s sixth standalone facility, and allows for easier access to students on main campus and relieves the overcrowding in the existing Rec Centers. The facility includes 63,500 square feet of indoor recreational space with an additional 15,000 square feet of outdoor recreational space, and is ADA accessible. Southside Rec Center is located near the intersection of Bizzell Street and Mosher Lane, and the facility is in close proximity to the Commons Residence Halls and the Golf Course at Texas A&M. All Rec Sports members and currently enrolled students paying the Rec Sports fee have access to this facility.
