The Houston-area is recovering after Thursday's severe storms. The Wharton County Sheriff's Office said three tornadoes were confirmed.

Houston received a smattering of storms that struck communities throughout the region a day after Christmas. Thursday’s storms, highlighted by multiple reported tornadoes, led to some damage in the area.
