Washington State has hired South Dakota State's Jimmy Rogers to a five-year deal as the Cougars' next head coach, the school announced Saturday.

SDSU football head coach Jimmy Rogers is leaving Brookings to take the head coaching job at Washington State, according to a report from ESPN. There is no official announcement from SDSU at this moment.

After two seasons and a National Championship at South Dakota State, Jimmy Rogers will be making the jump to the Pac-12.
