Technology stocks have been in scintillating form on the market in the past couple of years, which is evident from the 86% gains clocked by the Nasdaq Composite index during this period, and the good news is that the impressive run in tech stocks could continue in 2025 as well.

The Nasdaq Composite Index rose by 30% in 2024, which is much higher than usual. This might make some investors worry that the market is too hot and will go down in 2025. But history shows this might not be the case.

The market has gone into overdrive in 2024. Technology stocks especially so. After posting a 55% total return in 2023, the Nasdaq-100 index followed up with 27.5% total returns so far in 2024 (as of this writing).
