Speaking exclusively to Sports Now, a source in the BCCI said that no decision has been taken as of yet regarding whether Rohit Sharma would travel to Pakistan for the Champions Trophy 2025 opening ceremony.

The last time the Indian team visited Pakistan was in 2008 for the Asia Cup final against Sri Lanka which they lost by 100 runs. The last time the Men in Blue played a match in Pakistan was also in the same tournament during the Super Four Stage, where India suffered a defeat by 8 wickets.

The Indian team for the ICC Champions Trophy 2025 is yet to be announced. The Rohit Sharma-led India will play all their games in Dubai instead of Pakistan including the knockouts, provided the Men in Blue qualify.
