The FBI says it offered guidance before Savannah Guthrie and her siblings released a public video responding to an alleged ransom note following the disappearance of their mother Nancy Guthrie.

Savannah Guthrie's brother, Camron Guthrie, issued a plea Thursday for the return of their mother, Nancy Guthrie, saying in a video to the possible abductor, "We want to talk to you."

Nancy Guthrie was taken from her home early Sunday, authorities said.

"We need a way to communicate with you so we can move forward," Camron Guthrie said in the video

Nancy Guthrie was last seen five days ago when her children left her at her home in Tucson, Arizona.

A few days before the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics were set to begin, NBC announced that co-hosts Savannah Guthrie and Craig Melvin would no longer travel to Italy for NBC's coverage amid the search for Nancy Guthrie.
