Police in Aurora are investigating a deadly shooting after a man who was rushed to the hospital with gunshot wounds died from his injuries.

A 23-year-old man was shot and killed Tuesday night on the western edge of Aurora, just over a mile north of Cherry Creek Reservoir, police said. Aurora officers responded to reports of a shooting in the 10800 block of East Bethany Drive at about 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, according to a news release from the police department.
