First of all, Trapasso based his mock draft on Rodgers signing with the Giants and Wilson returning to Pittsburgh. So the draft unfolds like this: Ward to the Titans, edge rusher Abdul Carter to the Browns — and then Missouri offensive tackle Armand Membou to the Giants at No. 3.

The 31-year-old Winston joins Tommy DeVito as the only quarterbacks on the Giants’ roster. New York has been in the market in free agency for a veteran, with Aaron Rodgers and Russell Wilson also mentioned as possible targets.

Cowher believes Rodgers can still play at a high level, and that teams in need of a QB should have already reached out to him. Rodgers would be “all in,” once he decides his future, especially because his Jets tenure ended with a 5-12 season in 2024 and Cowher doesn’t believe he wants to go out a loser.
