Here are the BPS schools that may merge or close in 2026
Mayor Michelle Wu and Superintendent Mary Skipper on Tuesday recommended the closures and mergers of a handful of schools, part of the district’s ongoing Long-Term Facilities Plan. If approved by the the Boston School Committee in coming weeks, the schools would shutter at the end of the 2025-26 school year.
