(FOX40.COM) — As of Feb. 1, new Transportation Security Administration rules are taking effect, including the requirement that travelers pay a fee if they have no REAL ID. The TSA said that passengers who plan on flying but do not have an acceptable form of ID can pay a $45 fee to use a modernized alternative identity
The Transportation Security Administration is imposing a fee for travelers who try to fly without a Real ID or another acceptable form of identification.
ConfirmID is a new option available through the Transportation Security Administration. All adult travelers without a REAL ID or acceptable form of identity can use ConfirmID before boarding a flight. If you still don't have a REAL ID and are hoping to fly, there's now a new option available: ConfirmID. There is a price to pay, though.
