A recall campaign has been launched against Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass. The Los Angeles Times reported that paperwork was filed with the state last week and with L.A.’s Ethics Commission on Monday.

Real estate agent Sahil Nandwani is principal of a newly formed committee to recall Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass. Sahil Nandwani calls himself “saucy” in a few of his social media handles. Nandwani has a background in real estate, political activism, finance and other business ventures.

After the January wildfires, a recall attempt was launched against LA Mayor Karen Bass over her response and leadership. But former mayoral candidate Rick Caruso said a recall campaign against Bass is a bad idea and waste of money.
