The Mega Millions jackpot for Friday’s lottery drawing has jumped to an estimated $324 million, with a cash option of $150.6 million. The drawing will be held at 10:59 p.m. and televised on WABC-7 in New York City and Fox 29 in Philadelphia. NJ.com will publish the winning numbers after the drawing.

The most recent big Mega Millions winner was a lucky lottery ticket holder in Arizona, who struck gold on Jan. 18, winning a $113 million jackpot. According to the lottery, only four tickets matched all six Mega Millions numbers in 2024 – the fewest jackpots won in a calendar year since the game began in 2002.

Casarotti matched all five white numbers drawn and the gold Mega Ball -- 3-7-37-49-55 MB: 6 -- for the drawing held on Dec. 27, 2024 to win a jackpot worth $1.269 billion. She elected to receive her money as a lump-sum payment of $571 million less federal taxes.
