The Philadelphia 76ers head to the Barclays Center to face the Brooklyn Nets in an Eastern Conference matchup. The 76ers are 13-19, which puts them in 12th place. The Nets are 13-21, which puts them directly behind the Sixers in 12th place.

It’s also the beloved Brooklyn Net, D’Angelo Russell’s, first game playing at the ‘Clays in a Nets uniform since 2019. We’re all in for a nice treat tonight, pun unintended. In other news, this tank stuff is understandable and all but Sean Marks’ recent comments show that the Nets are not necessarily locked into a long-term rebuild.

The second half of the NBA doubleheader on Thursday, Jan. 2 sees the Golden State Warriors playing host to the Philadelphia 76ers at Chase Center in San Francisco.
