At the top of the NFL draft, it seems likely to consist of quarterbacks, meaning some great talent should fall to the fourth pick for the New England Patriots. However, which great talent to take is the main question, as the roster currently has a ton of needs to address.

Luckily for the Patriots, they do have some resources to help speed up the process — starting with more than $130 million in salary cap space heading into the NFL’s 2025 free agency period. The team has already started spending some of it, adding pieces to the roster early in free agency.

Though the New England Patriots were able to overhaul their defense with a massive free-agent spending spree, they still have a lot of work to do on the offensive side of the ball.
