One man was hospitalized and another was arrested following a shooting on a TriMet MAX train in Portland early Friday morning. Details are limited, but Portland police said that the shooting happened just after 1 a.

Paramedics arrived at the scene near Southeast 134 th Avenue and Harold Street just after 2:30 a.m. to find the victim not breathing and with gunshot wounds, according to the Portland Police Bureau. The paramedics provided “lifesaving efforts,” but ultimately pronounced the person dead.
