In Freehold, New Jersey, someone found an 8 Foot Burmese Python had made a little home underneath the shed in their backyard. Burmese Pythons are by no stretch of the imagination native to Jersey, so this is clearly someone's pet snake that got loose and decided to set up shop in someone's backyard.
An eight-foot long python has been rescued after a resident spotted it in their backyard. A Freehold resident called the Monmouth County SPCA reporting that a non-native snake was seen in their backyard, the organization said on its Facebook page. Video of the rescue was posted to its account.
