Gov. Greg Abbott met privately Wednesday with President Donald Trump at the White House on the twin topics of immigration and border security, and the governor later told reporters Texas could provide billions of dollars worth of real estate and other assets to help detain and deport immigrants who enter the United States without legal authorization.
