Point Defiance Zoo & Aquarium recently welcomed two critically endangered American Red Wolves to their pack: Bronto and River.

The zoo's maned wolf pups were born in November but didn't receive their first physical exams until Jan. 13, 2026.

Bronto and River join the zoo's Red Wolf Woods habitat as part of a continued effort to protect the endangered species.
