After killing at least five people, the Palisades Fire continued to burn east toward the 405 Freeway and San Fernando Valley, prompting more evacuation orders and warnings in Brentwood and Encino, including at the Getty Center.

For five consecutive days, wildfires fanned by strong winds have ravaged neighborhoods in Los Angeles, destroying more than 12,300 homes and buildings and leaving at least 11 dead.
