Just before noon, a parent of a student of Hardin Valley Academy shared an email with WATE that they received from the principal, stating that the school had been evacuated due to an odor.

Knox County Schools shared that the teen was a student at Hardin Valley Academy and members of their School Culture Department at HVA will be available to provide support.
