The Sacramento Kings capped off an impressive comeback by defeating the Golden State Warriors Wednesday night.

DeRozan scored 17 points in the third quarter as the Kings outscored the Warriors 37-20 to tie the game. Sacramento shot 57.7% from the field while holding Golden State to 40%. The Kings forced eight turnovers in the third, resulting in a 13-0 advantage in points off turnovers.

The Kings trapped the ball out of Steph Curry’s hands all night — often at halfcourt — and he responded by dishing a season-high 12 assists. Andrew Wiggins poured in 25 and Gui Santos (16 points) provided a major lift off the bench. But DeMar DeRozan (32 points, 24 in the second half) was too much for the short-handed Warriors to overcome.

After a 3rd quarter comeback and back-and-fourth 4th quarter battle, the Kings stars carried Sacramento to a 123-117 victory.

Other players like DeMar DeRozan, Keon Ellis, and Keegan Murray have stepped up tremendously, especially as All-Star point guard De'Aaron Fox battles through injuries.
