A strong earthquake of 7.1 magnitude struck Tibet early Tuesday. The tremors were felt in Nepal and part of India as well.

A 6.8-magnitude earthquake hit Xigaze, Tibet, on Tuesday, killing 32 and injuring 38. The quake struck at 9:05 a.m. at a depth of 10 km, with tremors felt in Nepal, Bhutan, and northern India.

Chinese media also reported that as of 10 a.m. local time, multiple aftershocks were recorded, the largest of which was 4.4.
