Ogden-Hinckley Airport’s terminal is expanding. City leaders, airport executives and other dignitaries braved the cold Monday to celebrate the start of a $4.4 million project that they believe will enhance the experience of flying in and out of the airport originally constructed in the 1950s.

Ogden-Hinckley airport held a ground breaking for it new terminal entrance, which will expand the pick up and drop-off areas and move the baggage claim indoors.

Called the “terminal expansion” phase, the Ogden Airport will begin construction on a new terminal that will provide a new entrance and site access to the terminal, expanded drop-off and pick-up zones, and an enclosed, indoor baggage claim area.
