LaLiga team Atletico Madrid criticised on Thursday a "dangerous precedent" set by the Spanish national sports council (CSD) to allow Barcelona midfielder Dani Olmo to play on a temporary basis after his licence expired.

Dani Olmo and Pau Victor will be allowed to play for Barcelona after Spain's National Sports Council (CSD) on Wednesday allowed the LaLiga club to provisionally register the duo, four days after Spanish football authorities rejected their requests.

Atletico Madrid have issued a statement to express the club’s “deep concern” at the decision by the CSD to allow Barcelona to register Dani Olmo and Pau Victor on a temporary basis. The two players are now available to play for the Catalan giants once again after Barca took their appeals to the Spanish government.
