Middle Tennessee is preparing for possibly the coldest air of the season next week after last week's winter weather.The next week fluctuates in temperatures with the weekend being warm and rainy before a plunge of cold air arrives Sunday.

A winter storm warning has been issued for all of Middle Tennessee. While most areas could receive between three to six inches of snow on Friday, some areas could see as much as seven inches.

TEMA recommends staying prepared ahead of the winter storm, which is expected to last from the evening of Thursday, Jan. 9, until the afternoon of Saturday, Jan. 11.
