Iowa State football announced the signing of 12 players from its 2026 high school recruiting class on Wednesday, Feb. 4. Along with the nine players who signed in December, these 12 new signings will be enrolling and joining the team over the summer.

College football programs are certainly buying the nation’s top recruits’ signatures, but relationships and proof of concept still matter on the trail.

Per 247Sports, only six other teams signed more five-stars during this cycle than the Tigers and it's average rating per recruit is the second-highest in the country behind Oregon.
