Denver Health unveiled a no-cost naloxone vending machine on its hospital campus on Monday. The vending machine distributes the life-saving drug naloxone, otherwise known as Narcan, free of charge. Denver Health, the state’s flagship safety net hospital, did just that Monday morning, holding a ribbon cutting and unveiling of its first naloxone vending machine, affectionately called VENDY.

Denver Health’s Outpatient Behavioral Health Services opened the first naloxone vending machine on its campus.
