South Africa finally break Pakistan's resistance on the fourth day of the second Test to complete a 2-0 series win and finish top of the World Test Championship table.

Captain Temba Bavuma highlights a special momentum in South Africa's test team after their seventh successive win against Pakistan. Despite suggestions of an easy run, Bavuma asserts the team has untapped potential as they prepare for the World Test Championship final against Australia at Lord's.

But seamer Kagiso Rabada (3-115) and spinner Keshav Maharaj (3-137) kept chipping away at the Pakistan wickets, aided by some poor shot selection. David Bedingham was promoted to open in the South African second innings after double-centurion from their first, Ryan Rickelton, sustained a hamstring strain.

Ryan Rickelton posted the joint seventh-highest score by a South African in tests with 259 as his side ran up a huge 615 before reducing Pakistan to an effective 64 for four at the close on day two of the second and final test at Newlands on Saturday.
