I just knew something was off about the mystic topaz and the fake alexandrite looked too good to be real. The pictures don't show off the beautiful colors of this stone. I also lucked out once before too.

First point, be aware that most vendors photos will be manipulated, Alexandrite is extremely difficult to photograph, especially the daylight colour. I have taken dozens of photos of mine and what my eye sees isn’t what the photo shows.
