Bing news scroll bar no longer showing on homepage
When I go to the Bing homepage (bing.com) on my Chrome browser, I no longer am shown the Bing news scroll bar at the bottom of the page. Where did it go? This problem has persisted for two days and my computer is updated, chrome is up-to-date, etc. I also cannot see the box that provides more information about the Bing daily picture.

Sep 30, 2021 · To disable that news section you need to Go to Bing.com Click on Settings At the bottom of settings > Slide the button next to "Show News and Interests" to the left to turn off Trending Now. Unfortunatelly I have noticed that this only works in Edge browser. I tried on Chrome and the news section is not being disabled.

Fine, that gets rid of it BUT when you click on an article then it comes up on the next page. So you Unpin it again and X it out.

Mar 16, 2019 · bing search has changed from horizontal to vertical in edge, chrome and firefox now. i complain almost everyday using bing and microsoft feedback. nothing in the hamburger helps. all of my personalized search interets are now at the bottom of the bing vertical header scroll so i have to keep scrolling - going back to google i think now.

Dec 4, 2015 · I am using Bing Desktop and it works well for searches, desktop backgrounds, and local weather. It's great! I am unable to view any "Top News", "Trending", or "Trending Images" items. All I get is the five swinging dots (the Microsoft brand image) that never resolves. I don't know if this is a Bing issue, a proxy server issue, or a firewall issue.
