I believe your 2-door MK7 Golf R is rare. Or, very rare. It’s tough to locate exact production numbers that break out all the worldwide locations where they were sold. In NA, a small number of 2-door MK7 GTI’s were sold at the beginning of the production run.

There are plenty in the UK, so I guess it depends on where you’re located in the world. Yeah the US got 2 door mk6 Rs, but I believe only 4 door hatchback mk7 R's. No 2 door or wagon variants.
