Nov 22, 2022 · Hi. Has anyone successfully replicated Carmelo's default jumpshot in 2k23? I'm trying to check on the Jump Shot Creator but his name is not there but on the roster (All time Knicks) he has his own signature. I'm trying to do a Carmelo build on my next player. I'm assuming his jumpshot is a season unlockable but I don't know when.

Aug 23, 2013 · The way I see it, Carmelo's jump shot is a Maserati and Ray Allen's jump shot is a Formula 1 race car. The Maserati is a beautiful piece of art and it's pretty damn fast. The F1 car doesn't look as nice, but the way that it has been crafted to be as efficient as humanly possible is a spectacle to behold.

Apr 4, 2023 · You probably shouldnt copy Melo, he is 6’8” 240 so he can naturally compensate for any wasted movement in his jump shot, especially with the amount of reps he shoots. You’re better off copying someone with a textbook jump shot who has a similar body type/play-style to you. E.g. Klay Thompson, Devin Booker, Payton Pritchard, Kevin Love, etc.

Jul 25, 2015 · Which is inaccurate. Melo's shot distribution shifted to a lot more 3 pointers under D'Antoni so it's a dumb thing to say about Melo. You can criticize his shot selection or how he doesn't move the ball enough, but he has absolutely adapted.

It’s Klay Thompson. When I coached, he’s the form I wanted all my players to watch. Any of the high jumping guys—Ray, Ant, etc— are near impossible for most kids to emulate. Most of the older guys shot more two motion, which is not as pretty imo. Even JJ Redick has has talked about his more two motion form limiting the range on his shot.
