About Thorncrown Chapel
The chapel is located on Highway 62 West just outside of Eureka Springs, Arkansas. There is no admission fee, but donations are accepted. Every tour group will receive a presentation telling the story of the chapel.

Thorncrown Chapel is Eureka Springs’ premier wedding location. Since 1980 people have come from all over the world to get married at this beautiful glass cathedral in the woods. Surrounded by beautiful rock formations and a canopy of trees, the chapel provides an unforgettable setting for your wedding ceremony.
Fay Jones and Jim Reed - Thorncrown
Fay Jones and my dad, Jim Reed, were an unlikely pair. During his career, Fay had clients such as Former Arkansas governor Orval Faubus, Sam Walton, and Domino’s Pizza founder, Tom Monaghan. Yet, a schoolteacher became his most iconic. For much of his career Fay wanted to design a church or chapel.
