Jul 27, 2009 · I started massaging my scar with Vit E oil this week. My physical therapist recommended it. It does help break up the scar tissue. So far, it looks really good. I am 4 1/2 weeks out from surgery, so we'll see how it goes. It does look a lot better because it was kind of dry before I used the oil.

After five months, all was going very well until I noticed a deep depression in the area at the scar site. I had no pain and am able to walk as I did before I noticed this "hole".
