Bourgeois vs. Larrivee - The Acoustic Guitar Forum
Jan 11, 2023 · I am thinking about purchasing a used Bourgeois D Country Boy or a Larrivee D-60 Traditional Series. I live in a part of the country where there are no guitar shops for hours so I am basing my purchase on mainly research and reviews. Has anyone had any experience with these two guitars?

Dec 20, 2022 · I really liked my Larrivee and was looking to buy a new one but now the cheapest models are around 2700 CAD (1900 euros). Are the quality of the guitars moving up along with the price tag? Are there any alternatives in the 1000-2000 euro range you'd recommend instead?

Jan 21, 2015 · Can anyone give me an opinion of the Santa Cruz om, vs the Bourgeois om? Which ones do you like better, and why? Santa Cruz uses a dovetail neck joint. Bourgeois uses a bolt-on joint. I own an OM/PW. Just traded away a Bourgeois Vintage OM. I can't comment on the regular OM, but my SCGC OM/PW is a lot like Martin tone.

Jan 7, 2008 · First, Larrivee does seem to make some super guitars with a different sound and at a great price. Their production is probably just under a third of Martin's, so, while their wood purchasing obstacles are mostly the same as Martin's, they are on a slightly smaller scale.
