Established and certified by the New Jersey Police Training Commission in October 2006, Mercer County's academy is dedicated to providing the best academic and hands on training in a dynamic approach for law enforcement officers.
MCCC - Mercer County Police Academy
Our Basic Course for Police Officers (currently 21 weeks) is designed for the newly appointed police officer and it is done in accordance with The Police Training Act (52:17B-66 et. seq.). The curriculum is approved by the Police Training Commission, Department of Law and Public Safety within the Division of Criminal Justice.
MCCC - Mercer County Police Academy
The Mercer County Police Academy offers approximately 2000 hours of basic and advanced in-service courses and training to approximately 1000 police officers throughout the year. The academy staff and instructors are experienced and well versed in their field of instruction.
